Sarah McLean clinches Calendar Girl Sponsorship

Train With Rich Winner Steve Wilson reports on his trip of a lifetime.
Competition winner Steve Wilson and his wife Leann, won the trip of a lifetime. A VIP trip to Vegas for the 2011 Mr Olympia. However it didnt end there. Not only were they flying to Las Vegas for 4 days all inclusive and with $500 spending money, Steve also won the chance to train with the "Dragon Slayer" himself, Mr Rich Gaspari at Gold's Gym.
Gaspari Girls Dominate Bikini Class at British Championships
October sees the summit of the British Bodybuilding calendar, where competitors make their annual visit to Nottingham, host of the 2011 British Championships.
Gaspari UK Athlete’s Lydia Rees, Beth Workman, whom both were competing in the Bikini Class and Darran Clemmit competing in the Classics, took to the Royal Concert Hall’s stage over the weekend.
With months of hard training and preparation it was just deserved for all three athlete’s to claim Top 10 finishes. Lydia Rees and Beth Workman claimed 2nd and 3rd Place respectively. Pictured Right, Lydia (Left) and Beth (Right). Whilst Darran who had qualified by winning the ‘MuscleTalk’ Classics back in September was also placed in the Top 10.
Those of you that have been following each individuals progress leading up to the Finals via our Athlete’ blogs, will know how much dedication and effort was endured and just goes to show, it has its rewards!
Huge congratulations from Gaspari UK to all our Athletes and Representatives who have competed this year.

Congratulations Lydia
Gaspari UK athlete, Lydia Rees, took to the stage for the first time at the UKBFF Welsh Qualifier on Sunday 11th September at the Princess Royal Theatre, Port Talbot.
Lydia, who has been with Gaspari Nutrition UK for 18 months decided to compete in the new Bikini category at the Welsh. The were 4 girls in the class.
Lydia has now been invited to the British Finals to be held in Nottingham on 22nd / 23rd October, and will go head to head with fellow Gaspari UK Bikini athlete Beth Workman! May the best girl win!
Train with Rich in Las Vegas
Each year Gaspari Nutrition and Gaspari Nutrition UK give one lucky winner from the UK the opportunity of a lifetime, to be a VIP at the greatest bodybuilding show in the world, Mr Olympia, and not forgetting that all important Train with the Dragon Slayer himself, Rich Gaspari, at Golds Gym in Las Vegas.
Thousands of people entered this years competition, however the winner was chosen at random, at Steven Wilson from Aberdare, Wales.
Steven was over the moon, and couldn't quite take it in that he had won the trip of a lifetime when a Gaspari UK representative called him to break the news he was off to Vegas.
The prize included flights to Las Vegas for 2, accommodation for 4 nights in Las Vegas, VIP Olympia Tickets, Train with Rich and Team Gaspari at Gold's Gym in Vegas, and a Gaspari Goody Bag.
We look forward to hearing of Steve's adventure' on his return.
UKBFF Bedford 27/06/2011.
The Bedford Corn Exchange was the venue for this years ‘Muscletalk’ Championships on the UKBFF Calendar.
Gaspari UK Representatives Darran Clemmit and Matt Wild took the stage to compete in their respective classes. Both representatives have worked tremendously hard to achieve stage condition. Darran Clemmit claimed his debut 1st place finish in the Classics earning him automatic qualification to the British Finals weekend in Nottingham, October 22nd/23rd. Leading up to the event he explained in his blogs he was considering which class he was to compete in, split between U80’s class and Classics. Against the odds and ‘on track to be the in the best ever condition’ he felt the classics would be far more suitable with regards to his height and overall condition and what a rewarding decision that proved to be! Darran will now begin preparation plans for the finals, and via Gaspari Nutrition UK you can follow him every step of the way!
Matt Wild was a very close 2nd Place in the 90kg. Matt has worked tirelessly to compete in this particular class since qualifying for the British last year and despite missing out on qualifying for this years Finals, he believes “it is the start of something good”. UK Athlete Beth Workman wins South Coast Bikini Class
Competition season has kicked in, and our first UK athlete Beth Workman took to the stage at the UKBFF South Coast Championships at the Portsmouth Guildhall on 8th May 2011.
New to the Bikini Class and also to the UKBFF Federation, Beth went to Portsmouth with one intention and one intention only, and that was to win.
Congratulations to Beth who did dominate that class and has got her all important invitation to the British Championships in Nottingham, this coming October.
A big well done also to Francesca Giacomini, who won the Calendar Competition to feature as Miss May and also came 3rd at the South Coast.
Flex Lewis wins 202 at IFBB British Grand Prix
This weekend saw the return of the British Grand Prix in the UK, organised by Gaspari's own Neil "the Guru" Hill. The event boasted a World Class Pro Card at both 202lb class and the open class. The main headline before the show was the return of James FLEX Lewis. Flex is one of the most talked about athletes in the sport and has taken almost 18 months away from the stage to enjoy a good off season to add more mass to weaker bodyparts. With headlining the event and having a long break, the pressure was on for Flex to deliver and he didn't disappoint!!
Flex exploded onto the stage with his trademark showmanship, energy and enthusiasm to ignite the crowd that had massed to watch his long awaited return. Flex delivered a whole new package this year demonstrating a granite like appearance with deep straitions and the infamous shredded glutes. Weaker points previously levelled at Flex such as back development have now been made a strength as Flex hit a rear double bicep and lat spread which truely dwarfed everyone else on stage, without a doubt Flex's best showing in his career to date. Flex deservedly claimed the first prize and now books his place for the Olympia 2011 in Las Vegas, where he will do battle with Dave Henry and Kevin English to become the World's Premier 202 bodybuilder!!! With this showing the whole of Team Gaspari and the onlookers have no doubts that he will be the most dangerous threat to these two established powerhouses.
Congratulations Flex and Neil who juggled organising the event and dialling in Flex's prep to reveal one of the best transformations ever seen on stage!!!!
